I finally made the "digital switch" about 3 years ago after a long internal battle; but it was the best thing I've done for my photo hobby/career. I use a Sony DSC-1, 10.5 megapixel SLR. The clarity is amazing and I love the ability to instantly upload, crop and get creative. Also switched to Windows Vista about the same time. It gets a bad rap from many; but from a photographer's stand point - it's fantastic. Just at work I take about 200 photos per week of the residents - not to mention the side jobs and fun stuff. Still refuse to do weddings - too much emotion and "family fueds" during the shoots and the photographer always gets blamed when the ring bearer is picking his nose in a shot with 30 smiling wedding party members! Sold the old 35mm stuff on E-bay - got a fair price. Still have a Canon Advantix SLR that I've been trying to sell; but no interest. Sorry to hear about the cat.
What's the subject matter of this mural? The last few which you posted images of were very nice. Is this in the pet store again, or a different location? How old is Kat now? 14...15? Time sure flies. BTW.... whatever became of the giant cat statue saga?
Hi, Joe - Have not heard from you in a bit and just wanted to check in to say hello. Almost was up your way about a month ago. A family member in Mooresville was not doing well and I was going to drive my parents up to the hospital. He pulled through - so no trip was ever made. Heard from Keith a few nights ago, too. Be well.
Hey Everyone! Not on here often, obviously. Working on sleep deprivation project #3 and it should be coming to an end soon. For those of you who don't know, It's a mural in Greenfield Indiana at SPECK's Pet Supply. I will post pictures once the mural is done, but if you want some step bye step pictures, stop by facebook and drop me a line! So far, For every six people who come bye to shop, we've had 7 to take pictures of the mural...makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside!

your work is excellent and you should try to find the right market for it. Don;t know how to do that. And a sense of humor is always important. I don;t like serious people. Boring......
Most men have gone thru a dino stage in their youth. Some men never outgrow it. You should go to Tucson to the big trade show and see what kind of artsy amazing dino related things they sell. If I ever need any artwork I will definitely let you know. Thanks. got to go for now. take care
Hey, I wanted to tell you that your art work is fabulous!! Wow. Sorry I haven't been around for awhile. Moving my business and residence and getting divorced..... Hope you are well.
Yeah, it is warming up here, still nice in the evenings with a nice breeze and in the 60s. The kind of weather that we wish could be year round. T-shirts and snow on the ground, you are nuts. I did get a chance to see snow myself. We got married in March in WVA, and there was snow on the ground, I drove through it and all, had the full experience minus the shovelling to go anywhere.
