Saw your comment to Wendy.... do you EVER remember her with her mouth CLOSED???!!! That's why we all had so much fun around her... she would get us into trouble!
The three classes that I have no sane person would take together! Advanced Federal Taxation, Statistics, and Logic. I made a 75 on my midterm for stats. I have even been going to a 4 hour study group on Saturday mornings. I used to think that I was really good in math. I am hoping that this next half will go better. My husband had a total hip replacement on 7/13, we moved into a new house over the July 4th weekend, so a lot has been going on. I would love to come down for the get together. I will have to see how my schedule is around that time. Maybe I can sneak away for a long weekend. If we could do it on a Saturday that would be great.
Yep - she e-mailed me also. Would like that. It needs to be after Labor Day as things are crazy at work. I'm training a new nurse, we're remodeling and painting the facility and putting down new carpeting, I need to re-certify 2/3 of my staff in CPR and get all of this done before I leave for vacation the third week in August!! I still have those 6 hours I spend every night unconscious, though!!
Yea - I know... it's HAIR!! I used to have plenty of it - in all the right places. Now it's where I don't need it!! That's ok - I would not want to re-live that age anyway!!
Wow!! Local boy does well!! I guess after all these years I still recall Kayton as being the "kid brother" so it hits home when I see that we're ALL not "kids" any more!! Glad to see he's successful - anyone for that matter - who works hard and earns it. Please express my salutations his way. Hi to Amy as well - and way to go "professor". Take care.
OK - now I'm curious about this teaching career and what Kayton is up to!!! Bring me up to date. In the meantime, hope you and the family have a great holiday.
