About Me:
For those of you who knew me in high school, I always wanted to be a professional journalist. And that's just what I am. I'm the editor, publisher and owner of The North Florida Herald, a community newspaper just outside of Gainesville (Fla.).

I'm married, have two children, and live on 22 acres in the country.

I do get back to West Palm Beach every now and then, but I do love the country life up here.

For those of you who come to visit Ichetucknee Springs up here in North Central Florida, just look me up. I'm only a few minutes away.

Thanks! Wish I could claim the horse, but he was actually just nice enough to stand there and let me have my picture taken with him.

Good job on all the pictures. Brought back a lot of memories. I forgot just how big the school is.

by the way..."feedaback" is a local colloquial expression dating back to 3 minutes ago. We mountain folk use all kinds of fancified words!

Ron Dupont! My brother just informed me about this website. You have done a terrific job. I recognize many names and some faces. I recall you giving me some good writing advice when we were in Mr. Linksman's (?) class. You said that I was overusing commas. I have never forgotten that and I frequently edit the hell out of comma-happy writers that ask for my feedaback. Not surprised you are a successful journalist/editor/publisher! Congrats, Donna

It really was a great event. Very few 80's grads, but the oldest was from the class of 1932 ! PBHS grad and Hollywood actor Monte Markham was there and spoke.
I learned alot about the school. I was very impressed at how accomplished the new School of the Arts is. It is rated one of the top public schools in the country and the top arts school. The tour of the campus brought back alot of memories.
