I have three children. Max is 8. Jake is 7. And my baby, Isabelle - the one I was impossibly pregnant with at our last reunion - is now 4...going on 24. I find I have been apologizing more and more to my mother for the misdeeds of my youth. All because of my little Isabelle.
During the day, I take care of 26 other children by teaching elementary school. This year it is fourth grade, but it has been mostly fifth with a couple of years here and there in the dreaded third grade. There are moments of teaching that are sheer joy and delight. And then moments where if I could get away with it, I would walk out in the middle of the day.
In my spare time (HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!), I still sing. Like anyone could stop me from doing that! These days, it is mostly in my church choir. Although, I still dream of singing on stage! Maybe one day. I also read - alot. But mostly books aimed for the fourth through seventh grade set. I mean, how can I help kids find good books if I don't read their books? I love to bake. I hope to some day own my own children's bookstore with a little cookie shop attached. Anyone want to fund that??? ;-)
In what year did you graduate?

:) Thanks for remembering that with me. It is so funny, Susan, a couple weeks ago I was at a parents' meeting for my son's school band and a woman walked in who I thought was you. I didn't approach her because there was no appropriate time to do so, but of course I thought about you. Then lo and behold you appear here on the site days later. So weird! I know it wasn't you now, but isn't that interesting? Glad to see you are doing well and music is still a big part of your life!
Gee gads! What are doing! I haven't spoken to you in Centuries! LOL! Been busy today, warehouse fire (nothing like a mile long warehouse and a peice of metal the size of a quarter burning) and a 30 year old throwing a blood clot! Well, time to draw...Feb is coming...
