- I am a 1976 graduate of Twin Lakes, after which I attended Palm Beach Junior College, then the University of Florida, where I majored in journalism and minored in environmental studies. I am married with one child, Dakota, who is 14 and just started High School. I am a reporter with The Tampa Tribune.

Went to NY state...a tiny town near Letchworth State Park known as the Grand Canyon of the East. Terry's family does a lovely annual reunion there...cook breakfast on the grill and sit by a fire in the log pavillion's fire place. Go for a long hike in the woods where there are several waterfalls. Come back and cook lunch and break out the coldies for an afternoon of horshoes and throwing the football around in between looking at family photos. Their old friends from the small town where they grew up stop by and visit. It's just the most relaxing time for us.
When we got back we went to see the Allman Bros. at the Hard Rock and then we saw Bonnie Raitt in her next-to-last concert on what she says is her last tour at the Pompano Beach Amphitheater. For 60 years of age, she looked dynamite and is still as spunky as ever.
This weekend we're heading over to the fair grounds for an RV show. Terry's brother has a dandy fifth wheel (it's got a fire place and french doors) for sale and we're thinking about doing a little RVing in our off time. I used to be a big-time camper when I lived in Colorado. So that should be fun.
How are you and yours getting along over there on the west coast? Did you make it up to Boston this year? I know I enjoyed your Facebook posts from the Keys. It's great to get away sometimes and when you can't, it's great to read about somebody else doing it. :)
I had to quit Facebook. I got a stalker on there and that wasn't very much fun. He's gone now thankfully.
I have a new e-mail address. It's coralskies@ymail.com. Please let me know how your summer went...or wait...aren't we still in summer? Sure feels like it outside! LOL I'd love to keep in touch with such a great gal.
